Will I need a new aerial for Freeview?
A new aerial may be required as some of the Freeview signals are on a higher frequency depending on your location. However, recent changes to the channel line up have made local reception easier.
Will additional channels be added to Freeview?
There are currently 30 channels available and they could add to this line up. Viewers will need to repeat the set up procedure to receive any additional channels when available.
Is the quality better with Freeview?
You should see an improvement in the picture quality with no gosting or grainy images. In most areas of the country you will receive significantly improved Channel 5 reception.
What interactive services are available on Freeview?
Digital text and enhanced TV, including additional video streams for events such as Wimbledon, Open Golf.
Will I be able to get pay channels with Freeview?
There is a new service offering a selection of additional channels for an monthly subscription.
TOP UP TV offers TEN more channels for a monthly fee of just £7-99 + £20 connection change. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.
